Meuva is expanding in the asbestos and disassembly market

Berkel and Rodenrijs - On 3 November 2016, Meuva signed for the acquisition of Sloopwerken Lekkerkerker Rotterdam (Demolition Works). This concerns the entire machine park and the demolition and asbestos departments.

Meuva has not 'been resting on their laurels' in the recent period. A joint venture has been established with scaffolding manufacturer PBC and Schotte and Asbest & Combi Services have also been taken over. New markets have been opened with the latter, such as the maritime sector and the real estate market.

Mels Jongeneel, CEO of Meuva, is enthusiastic about the expansion: “In addition to a substantial expansion of the machine park, we are strengthening the team with a number of experienced staff. This allows us to further improve our service processes and further expand existing markets, both within and outside the Netherlands."

Hans Stockmann and Jan Albert Ottevanger, management of Lekkerkerker Rotterdam, are very pleased with the transaction: “At Meuva, the combined demolition companies of Lekkerkerker and Schotte have sufficient capability in a growing company with large appealing customers. Lekkerkerker Rotterdam will focus entirely on the development of its rental activities at home and abroad, in particular in the field of road plates, dragline bulkheads and construction fences.”

Meuva is active in the (petro) chemical and industrial market with specialisms in asbestos remediation, soil remediation, dismantling and suction technology.
