This large-scale project, involving the disassembly of both high-rise and low-rise buildings, took around one year. Due to its size, the disassembly was divided into several stages.
We first began removing installations and smaller buildings surrounding the high-rises. This created space for us to bring in cranes with a high range. We then used so-called cold disassembly to tackle the silos. The resulting rubble and concrete paving stones were broken down on site and spread across the terrain to serve as subsoil for new construction projects.
