Meuva has started dismantling Boa Barges for a 'new' client in Amsterdam, cutting off 6,000 (!) tonnes of carbon steel.
This enormous amount of steel has been used for a temporary project, as support for placing and transporting offshore elements. The steel parts, which were initially placed on a ship, were put on the quay by the client. Meuva took over from there and is currently dismantling the entire steel structure by means of flame cutters. Within an estimated timeframe of 9 weeks, the steel will be cut into small parts and transported to an authorised processor.
