Dismantling of waste water purification installation

This 30-metre high installation was mechanically dismantled by means of cutting.

Before dismantling could start, a SC-540 certified inspection agency checked the installation to make sure that it did not contain any asbestos. Once this had been verified, the heavy and upper parts were dismantled and removed by means of telescopic cranes.

These parts were then cut to small pieces at ground level, loaded into skips, and transported to a certified processor.

In addition to dismantling the installation, the adjacent warehouse was also removed. What was special about this warehouse was the presence of several soil dryers that contained a large quantity of contaminated soil. This soil was extracted by means of Meuva's soil suction vehicles. The warehouse was then completely dismantled.
